The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This is an instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end.
Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety.
Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. This is a six to eight hour class.
The Blended NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This course is an online course blended with instructor-led portion where you will receive instruction from an NRA-certified instructor.
Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety.

This instructional shooting clinics are designed to teach you firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship, giving you the confidence you need to safely handle and operate a firearm upon completion.
Women On Target® clinics are available only to women — it’s a safe and friendly environment whether you’re picking up a gun for the very first time or are just brushing off some dust and need a little refresher.
Seminar topics include: Gun Safety, review of different types of pistols, basic grip instruction, how to safely load and unload a firearm, how to grip a pistol, and how to do all of the above Safely. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to feel comfortable and safe around firearms; and be able to go to the range safely by themselves. This is a one hour to two hour class.
Teaches basic techniques, drills and mindset to improve firearm handling in defensive situations.
Focus on proper grip, stance and techniques to engage multiple targets.
Learn how to acquire and shoot a target from the ready position.
Start to learn how to deal with some stress in target shooting scenarios (i.e. use of timer, limited time to acquire targets and take the shot, etc.).
This is a 4 - 6 hour course including range time and is not an NRA course.
There will be NO drawing from the holster in this class.
For those that want to continue to improve their defensive shooting skills, individual instruction is available.
Teaches strategies people can integrate into their everyday lives to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Learn common weaknesses that criminals may take advantage of, and a variety of corrective measures that are practical, inexpensive and easy to follow.
The seminar includes classroom instruction on criminal psychology, automobile crimes; cyber safety, home security, and a variety of crime prevention strategies including carjack avoidance techniques, use of personal safety devices, and more. This is a four to five hour class.
The RSO course content consists of RSO's roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency.
RSO's who have successfully completed the course then have the ability to become a Chief Range Safety Officer, someone essential to training and supervising NRA Range Safety Officers and developing range standard operating procedures.
Large classes can be a little intimidating sometimes. Designed for those new to shooting that are looking for a more personal experience.
Individual Training can be tailored to meet an individual's needs, progress at a pace that you are comfortable with. This is an hourly rate based on what the new shooter wants to accomplish.
You can also team up with a friend or relative and do a dual Individual Instruction Session.
